Network Analysis: WIC Retail Access

Walk time was used to create an analysis of the accessibility of WIC retailers from their service areas.

Secondly, a route analysis was created using drive time to find the most efficient route for a distributor to take to WIC retail locations.

Below: an up-close look at three WIC retailers in Tacoma's Central/South neighborhood. Here, you can see the service areas with less than a one minute walk to WIC retailers, which is not visible in the larger maps. Many of the WIC retailers in Tacoma have overlapping service areas.

Network Analysis: Tacoma Fire Stations Service Areas

Driving time was used to create this network analysis of the service areas of Tacoma's fire stations.

This map shows that nearly all of Tacoma is reachable by fire truck in under five minutes.
